Hitachi Rail GTS Denmark is seeking a skilled Engineer or IT professional passionate about problem-solving and delivering exceptional service.
At our Service Desk in Fredericia, you’ll play a key role in supporting Banedanmark, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring seamless operations in the railway sector. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a long-term project, as Hitachi Rail foresees providing service on the system for the next 20 years or more.

What You’ll Do
Act quickly to restore services when needed and document all actions in our centralized ticketing system.
Analyze troubleshooting data and translate findings into improved processes.
Monitor systems and guide field technicians by leveraging detailed manuals and resources.
Communicate effectively with our customer in Danish and manage internal documentation in English.
What You Bring
Strong experience with IT systems, preferably Linux and scripting.
Proven background in technical support and troubleshooting complex systems.
Familiarity with centralized ticketing systems.
A hands-on approach and willingness to provide practical support when required.
Exceptional communication skills in both Danish and English.
Calmness under pressure and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the railway industry is a bonus but not essential.
Working Conditions
Enjoy a 37-hour workweek as we transition toward family-friendly daytime shifts.
Occasional evening, weekend, and on-call shifts may be required.
