In Miami, thousands attended the American Public Transit Association’s (APTA) 2021 Expo and those who visited Hitachi’s tradeshow booth were treated to a “One Hitachi” experience, meeting experts from Hitachi Rail, Hitachi Energy and Hitachi Vantara.
Held every three years, the full breadth of Hitachi solutions were on display during the largest mobility tradeshow in North America.
Through APTA, our colleagues met with customers, suppliers, and partners face-to-face again, helping to make critical connections and introductions for partners and consultants who are working on innovative solutions such as battery and flash charging solutions for both rail and bus networks.
Recent developments in the US, including the government’s focus on infrastructure improvements and President Biden’s new $1 trillion infrastructure program, added to the good news for APTA attendees and suppliers like Hitachi Rail.
Take a look behind-the-scenes at APTA with our US colleagues:
Jason White is Hitachi Rail’s Executive Officer for the Americas. For Hitachi Rail, it is all about enabling more seamless, sustainable journeys for our passengers. The mass transit system needs more capacity.
Allan Immel is responsible for Hitachi Rail’s turnkey system development in North America. Hitachi provides complete solutions. Delivering better mobility solutions means creating a better future.
Giampaolo Nuonno, head of Rolling Stock Americas, discusses the US transit system and how the infrastructure bill is a good step in the right direction for delivering greener and more sustainable transit.
Charlotte Muller, Senior OS&M Sales Manager, describes how Hitachi serves customers all the way from the design stage to operation and maintenance, and leverages digital solutions to increase efficiency.
Miles Metschke, Head of Freight Rail – North America. There are very few companies that can bring together digital, rail and energy solutions to help solve society’s biggest challenges. Hitachi is one of them.
